Yudhoyono Opens Police Management Meeting

Jakarta, VOI News. To realize and optimize the role and function of the Indonesian National Police -Polri as the state organ in accordance with the Constitution and the spirit of reform, there must be a comprehensive evaluation to revitalize the police performance towards professionalism as expected and desired by all circles in Indonesia. This can be achieved by organizing Elite Police Consolidation activities 2010.  Police management meeting in 2010 today was officially opened by the President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the National Police Headquarters in Jakarta.

This activity takes the theme of building partnerships with communities to establish people's confidence toward prime services to support the National Medium Term Development Plan in 2010 - 2014 and is scheduled to take place from 8 to 10 February 2010. Deputy Head of Community Relations Division Headquarters of the Republic of Indonesia Police Sulistyo Ishak told the media in Jakarta today, the focus discussion of this activity is increasing police performance in supporting the national development.
 
 " First of all, the best thing in the officers' coordinating meeting is that the meeting is a coordinating one for all officers of The National Police -POLRI, This is aimed at increasing the performance of POLRI to show the best services to the people. In the end, how the police create a conducive condition amids the people. Thus, Indonesia can continue its National development with conducive situation across Indonesia." He said. Sulistyo Ishak further explained, this Agenda was attended by high officers of Polri and logional police chiefs all over Indonesia.
 
In addition, a number of ministers also attended and filled the Activity such as Energy and Mineral Resources Minister and Minister of Justice and Human Rights and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. (TVRI/Khadafi/LPP RRI)
