President Joko Widodo invites Korean businessman to boost Indonesia’s investment in four main sectors in Indonesia Korea Business Summit in Jakarta, March 14th. Head of Investment Coordinating Board, Thomas Trikasih Lembong convinced the South Korean businessman to boost investment in Indonesia, which is one of the most stable and secured country in the world. At the plenary session of the Indonesia-Korea Business Summit in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 14th, Thomas Lembong said not many countries are experiencing economic growth with political and security conditions as stable as Indonesia.

"I think we are very fortunate at this time to find ourselves in Indonesia as a country that’s among the most safe, among the most stable and among the most reformist in the world. Sad to say, we have terror attacks in places ranging from Istanbul, to even Berlin, and even Paris, in such places, Indonesia, nothing at all," he said.

Thomas Lembong further explained, Indonesia’s political condition is very stable. The Jakarta governor election has run well. Hundreds of thousands of people took the street to demonstrating peacefully. It also also happened in Korea and other democratic countries and countries that uphold freedom of expression. Furthermore, Thomas Lembong says investment licensing process is easier because the bureaucracy and reforms take place in Indonesia. He also mentioned criminal level in Indonesia is very low. ////SEKAR/EDT
