President Joko Widodo: No cabinet reshuffle this week

VOI NEWS 14072017 12:00 Local Time GMT +7

President Joko Widodo has categorically refuted an allegation that he will reshuffle his cabinet this week. After inspecting the construction of low-cost landed houses in the Pesona Bukit Batuan housing complex in Batu Ampar, East Balikpapan, East Kalimantan on Thursday (July 13th), President Joko Widodo affirmed that there will be no cabinet reshuffle this week. The issue of cabinet reshuffle surfaced in the past few days following a rumor that the President will evaluate the performance of his cabinet ministers.  But he added he does not see whether there will be a cabinet shakeup in the long run. He also declined to comment on a number of ministers who will allegedly be replaced. President Joko Widodo has twice reshuffled his cabinet since he came to office in October 2014. (Ant)
