Indonesia's press has become a strong and influential fourth pillar of democracy, Chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR) Commission I Mahfudz Sidik said in Jakarta on Thursday.

Tourism and Creative Economic Minister Marie Elka Pangestu said Europe remains a potential market for Indonesian tourism.

Newly installed Supreme Court chief justice Hatta Ali is expected to pay serious attention to settling unfinished legal cases and to clean-up within the force, said legal experts.
